Rentovalley is an independent, community-driven real estate classifieds board for Jind, Haryana. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information as a free community advertising platform.
Rentovalley is an open public marketplace. When you post a listing, your uploaded property photos and listing details are visible to the public. Please DO NOT upload photos containing sensitive personal identity cards (such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, or bank cheque leaves). Only upload photos of the property itself.
1Information We Collect
We collect minimal information required to facilitate direct communication between property seekers and listers in Jind:
- Contact Info: Name, phone number, and email address provided during sign-up or verification.
- Listing Data: Locality, asking price, property specifications, and photos voluntarily uploaded by users.
- Enquiries: Basic contact logs when a user clicks to message an owner via WhatsApp or submit a lead.
2How Your Information is Used
Information collected is used strictly to enable community marketplace functionality:
Direct Connection
Enabling genuine buyers and tenants in Jind to call or message you directly on WhatsApp regarding your listing.
Spam & Abuse Prevention
Verifying mobile numbers through OTP to discourage bots, prank listings, and repeat fraudulent postings.
We do not sell, rent, or trade user contact databases to commercial telemarketing firms, credit card agencies, or third-party loan brokers.
3Voluntary Public Disclosure of Phone Numbers
By posting a property on Rentovalley, you understand and acknowledge that you are voluntarily providing your contact number for prospective buyers and tenants to reach you.
While we require authentication for visitors to reveal full contact details, Rentovalley cannot control how third-party individuals use the phone number you voluntarily chose to advertise. If you wish to stop receiving calls, you can mark your property as sold or delete the listing anytime from your dashboard.
4Third-Party Infrastructure & Security
Rentovalley operates using standard cloud services:
- Supabase: For cloud data hosting and user authentication.
- Resend: For transactional email delivery (verification codes and login OTPs).
- WhatsApp (Meta): Third-party messenger through which direct peer-to-peer chats occur. We do not store WhatsApp message history.
*While we apply industry standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS), no internet transmission or cloud database is 100% impenetrable. You provide your data at your own discretion.
5Listing Removal & Deletion
You retain full control over your listings. You may edit, disable, or permanently delete your properties anytime via your User Dashboard.
